Are you fighting what you should be eating????

ARE THESE SOME OF YOUR CHOICES?????
Are you an emotional eater?
Here are a few ideas that might help you kick that habit. So you have a calorie number that you have decided fits your body. Now what? You did good for breakfast, ok on to the snack your ok around 100 calories, then lunch comes and you hear some disturbing news or your boss is a little upset with you; stay at home parent and kids are screaming???? DO YOU RUN TO THE FRIDGE????
No.
What's in your pantry?
First things first clean out the pantry of foods that are high risks for you. These are foods that once you start eating you can't stop. In the beginning of your new lifestyle it is best to not have them around.
How do you talk to yourself?
Okay now do you belittle yourself for making bad eating choices? or for binging? Eating for many people is a source of comfort reminding you of a happier time or feeling the void. It's simly a response to a stressful situation.
You ate to much now what do I do?
Counteract what you did. Simply eat lighter at the next meal. Plan for events. If you know that you have dinner plans at a restaurant eat lighter during the day. Plan how you will handle the next stressful moment without grabbing the big dish of M&M's.
Plan your meals on your day off, zip lock your salad for the week in the nifty bowls. Grill up your skinless chicken breast for the week. Grill an extra piece of fish for your salad the next day. Buy 3oz. tuna for your lunch with a side salad. Cut up fresh veggies such as bell pepper strips, baby carrots, celery, cucumbers. Make you a tomatoe, cucumber and red onion salad with balsalmic vinegar and you can add some olive oil if you like for the next time your a little hungry.
Do you ever feel like your starving by the time you get home from work and want to eat right then and there or while your cooking....
So before you start your dinner. Toss a small salad or get one of your prepared ones from the fridge and sit down at the table and eat it with low cal or balsalmic 0 calories and enjoy.
Then begin cooking.
Remember if you prepare and cook your main courses and pop them in the fridge or freezer for the week that takes less time on the days your starving.
In order to succeed at losing weight and changing how you look you need to make changes.
You have to change how you think and feel. You have to be ready to make a change on the inside to start changing what the outside looks like.
You can do it.. Are you going to eat a little to much at times? Yup! Are you going to excersise a little to less at times? Yup!
The key is to restratagize and to prioritze your day. If you did not bring healthy snacks to work and only the vending machine snacks you are going to find some change and make the wrong decision. If you do then it is okay just plan.
We all are human and make wrong choices the key to success is to not berate yourself but to get back on your plan and keep going.
Remember, this is a lifestyle change you can't eat broccoli and rice at every meal.
Eat what you want when you are hungry.
Sit down at the table and turn off the t.v..
Think about every bite and chew.
Learn when you are full and stop. If you stop and 10-20 minutes later you are still hungry eat a little more or drink water.
Don't give up just start again.
